If you’re feeling ambitious, you can actually walk all the way from Hokkaido to Kyushu!
(Though you’ll need to hop on a ferry between Hokkaido and Honshu). It takes about five months to complete… but you don’t have to go that far to enjoy the journey. Walking at a relaxed pace is a wonderful way to soak in the nature and scenery.
Walking events are held all over Japan. There might even be one happening where you’re headed! Why not join the locals for a fun walk and experience the community spirit?
